Overview
Come to Belize for two weeks of hands-on development work, full cultural immersion and a life-changing experience. Belize is home to lush tropical jungles, Mayan ruins and diverse cultures. Belize is just a short plane ride from the US, making this an excellent location for a short term program.
Recently completed projects include building a children's park and community center, small business management classes, health outreach, and environmental education and rail maintenance.
Weekend trips to world famous archaeological sites and adventure locations complement each volunteer's discovery. The bonds created with fellow volunteers often prove to be one of the most memorable aspects of the experience in addition to interacting with the host community in San Ignacio.
Highlights:
- Give Back to a Community in Need
- Spend a weekend trekking through the rain forest
- Experience vibrant Caribbean Culture
