Overview
Located at the entrance to Granville Island in beautiful Vancouver BC, Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts offers two full-time professional programs - Culinary Arts and Baking & Pastry Arts.
In conjunction with our 10th year of operation, Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts was proud to receive the 2006/07 Consumers' Choice Award for Business Excellence in the category of BC Trade School. This award solidifies the Institute's commitment to quality, service and value.
From its conception, the Institute's goals were clear: to provide students with the highest quality training in the Culinary Arts and Baking & Pastry Arts. Students train in state-of-the-art commercial kitchens under European-trained Chef Instructors. Small classes - never more than 15 students per class - allow students to master the art of cooking and/or baking to prepare students for entry-level employment in the fine-dining industry.
Further hands-on training in the Institute's on-site restaurant and bakeshop & café gives students the opportunity to hone their skills and provides a smooth transition into the industry. The Institute offers continuous enrollment with AM or PM classes starting four times per year; every January, April, June and September. For further information regarding our programs or the admissions process, please contact us.
