It was founded in 1981 and has welcomed students from all over the world ever since. We offer intensive courses in very small groups. Kitzbuehel is a beautiful town, which has all the apres ski benefits of a ski resort all year round with none of the big town problems of pollution, traffic and crime. We are open all year and you can start your course on any Monday. Our school is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the outskirts of a magical medieval town. We have courses during the popular July and August period, special seniors courses twice a year and even a 12 week course in the fall preparing you for the Austrian ski or snowboarder instructor exams. You have a lot more contact to your teachers at a small school and become more involved in all activities. Learn German in Austria! Erleben und geniessen! We welcome you. Special Courses or Features Programs for Seniors (50+ years old) Small Classes (5 or less per class) One-to-One / Private Lessons Short Programs (1 Week or Less) Test/Exam Preparation Activities Available Golf Tennis Horse Riding Skiing Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  Our courses have always been accepted by American universities for credit purposes. Our experience is that each university wants to see different information. Contact your dean and find out exactly what they need to see. Some just need to see our accrediitaition papers, others need to see the syllabus. Let us know and we'll get it to you straight away. Eligibility Minimum age 16, otherwise no criteria. Beginners welcome! Housing/Accommodation • Apartment / Flat • Hostel All accommodation is within walking distance from the school (unless student chooses otherwise or has a car) Program Costs One week intensive German course EURO 350 per week For courses of 5 weeks or longer: EURO 320 per week Seniors coruse EUR 1,250 German and ski/snowboard instructor course: EURO 8,000 Costs Include:  German tuition, Monday to Friday 09:00 to 12:15, course materials, tests, additional social programme, some excursions, evening lessons. For the ski instructor course, all accommodation, half board, a week in Eastern Europe, lift passes and ski instruction, exam fees, German tuition.
