Overview
Since 1950, IES has been building quality study abroad programs and introducing U.S. students to new places, studies, and ways of thinking. A non-profit educational organization, IES offers high academic standards and extensive financial aid in more than 30 programs throughout the world.
The IES EUROPEAN UNION program focuses on central issues of the EU and features field study trips to Brussels, Luxembourg, Frankfurt, Strasbourg, Paris, Geneva, and cities in Central Europe and the Baltic States that figure prominently in the enlargement of the EU. The innovative curriculum is designed primarily for Economics, Political Science, International Relations, and Business Majors and emphasizes the historical development of the European Union, its internal policies, and its relations with outside nations.
