This is achieved through the academic program and immersion activities including the homestay and cultural activities throughout the city and state of São Paulo. Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  Recommended Credit winter: 6 semester/9 quarter hours Eligibility - Overall GPA 2.75 - 4 semesters of college-level Spanish and/or 2 semesters of college-level Portuguese (or equivalent) Housing/Accommodation • Homestay / Host Family Brazilian Homestay Program Costs Current pricing will begin to be available 8/15/08 on our website. Costs Include:  The CIEE fee for 2008 includes an optional on-site meet and greet, full-time leadership and support, tuition, housing, two meals daily, orientation, cultural activities (concerts, festivals, group meals, performances), local excursions (such as museum visits, community service project visits), one weekend field trip, admission fees to host university events, comprehensive student handbook, pre-departure advising, and a CIEE iNext travel card which provides insurance and other travel benefits.
