Overview
Berklee College of Music is the premier institution in the world for the study of jazz and contemporary music. Academic Credit
Academic credit is available.
4-Year Bachelor of Music Degree or Professional Diploma. Berklee offers courses of study in the following majors:
Composition, Jazz Composition, Filmscoring, Songwriting, Contemporary Writing and Production, Music Production and Engineering, Music Synthesis, Music Education, Music Business/Management, Music Therapy, Professional Music, Performance and duel major options.
Eligibility
2-4 Years minimal training on a principal instrument or voice, basic knowledge of written music theor, completed application and $100.00 application fee, transcripts from all high schools or colleges/universities attended, music recommendation, TOEFL Score or English recommendation for all non-native speakers of English. All international students must submit relevant documents with official English translations.

Limited housing is available and entering students are not guaranteed on-campus housing. The Off-Campus Housing Coordinator assists entering students with finding apartments and roomates prior to coming to school.

Include: Covers all classes up to 16 credits including all lessons, ensemble classes and academic classes.

Berklee offers over $8.5 million in merit based scholarships to entering students. A variety of scholarship opportunities are available both domestically and abroad. Students should go to www.berklee.edu/scholarships for more information.
Berklee also offers all of the standard Federal financial aid programs available to domestic students. To qualify, students must submit the FAFSA form.
Dates
Students applying to enter in the Fall (September) semester can apply as early as November 1st but should apply no later than February 1st.
Students applying to enter in either the Spring (January) or Summer (May) semester should apply at least six months in advance of the semester they wish to attend.
