Since 1950, IES has been building quality study abroad programs and introducing U.S. students to new places, studies, and ways of thinking. A non-profit educational organization, IES offers high academic standards and extensive financial aid in over 30 programs throughout the world.
IES MELBOURNE offers direct enrollment at the University of Melbourne, an outstanding research and teaching university, along with a unique internship program that provides students with the opportunity to experience the Australian workplace. IES close relationship with the Australian Centre (based within the Faculty of Arts) on the University of Melbourne campus supports distinctive elements of the IES program: internships, special housing opportunities with young Australians, and field study trips that offer the opportunity to experience the Australian environment, meet outstanding researchers, and interact with indigenous people.
