Overview
About 70% of Kenya's wildlife is found outside of parks and protected areas, and much pressure is put on wildlife habitat as human populations expand. Students work with members of local communities to address issues of wildlife conservation and economic development.
Highlights: Semester students will spend approximately half of the semester living on a Maasai group ranch located within a major wildlife migration route between Tsavo and Amboseli National Parks. The other half will be spent on an experimental game ranch located minutes from Nairobi National Park.
