Overview
Students join backcountry study teams helping research specialists search for answers to important environmental problems affecting wildlife populations and large scale wildlands worldwide. Programs run from 2 to 10 weeks year-round in Chile, South Africa, Brazil, Bolivia, Canada, Belize, Thailand/Laos, China, and Nepal/India. Students earn 4-12 upper division semester credits.
Academic Credit
Academic credit is available.
12 upperdivision semester system units, equivalent to 18 quarter units
Eligibility
No field research experience is required...open to all majors.
