Overview
Students join backcountry study teams helping research specialists search for answers to important environmental problems affecting wildlife populations and large scale wildlands worldwide. Programs run from 2 to 10 weeks year-round in Australia, South Africa, Brazil, China, Canada, Belize, Thailand and Nepal/India. Students earn 5-15 upper division credits.
Academic Credit
Academic credit is available.
5 upperdivision quarter system units, equivalent to 3 1/3 semester units
Eligibility
No prior field research experience required...open to all majors.
