Overview
The SUNY Brockport Russian Internship site is in Novgorod is about two hours southeast of St. Petersburg. It is one of the oldest cities in Russia, founded in 859, and contains many beautiful examples of early Russian churches, as well as an outstanding collection of museums. Placement for most majors is available. Placements can be arranged for students in any major as a teacher assistant in a school.
Academic Credit
Academic credit is available.
Participants in the Brockport International Internships program will earn between 12-15 credits. Typically, summer participants earn 12 credits and semester long participants earn 15 credits.
Eligibility
Junior or Senior standing by the start of the program.
A cumulative GPA of 2.50 (on a 4.0 scale).
A GPA of 2.5 in an appropriate major.
