Overview
This five week, six-credit hour immersion program is open to students of junior, senior or graduate status with a GPA of 2.5 better (on a scale of 4.0). This program will admit participants with proficiency in Spanish at all levels from absolute beginner to advanced. The academic program consists of six credits in Spanish or three credits Spanish and three in an elective course.
Academic Credit
Academic credit is available.
Participants in the Mexico summer program can earn 3,6,9,12, or 15 credit hours depending on their length of stay.
Eligibility
A prospective participant should have:
Sophomore (or higher) by the start of the program.
A cumulative GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale).
Recommended:
Successful completion of a minimum of one year (two semesters) of college-level Spanish language (or its equivalent) prior to participation.
