Overview
There are three parts to this course. The first part consists of participating in lectures from African Africanists from various departments of the University of Ghana, at Legon. Most of the lectures will be presented in the morning hours with the afternoons devoted to discussion meetings, field trips, and social affairs that will give seminar participants ample opportunities to interact with Ghanaian citizens and other denizens of our world's second largest continent.
Academic Credit
Academic credit is available.
Credits: Participants in the Ghana Winter Session Program will earn six credit hours.
Eligibility
A prospective participant should have:
Junior or Senior standing by the start of the program.
A cumulative GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
A GPA of 3.25 in the candidate's major.
