Overview
The Year of Study in Munich, established in 1972, is one of two programs accredited by the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universitaet Muenchen. This affiliation allows a limited number of qualified American undergraduates to enroll for two semesters as regular students at the university and earn transferable credit. The year begins in September with an intensive academic and cultural orientation followed by two semesters with courses in all academic disciplines either at the Universitaet or through the program.
