Overview
ISA programs in San Josι, Costa Rica, are all-inclusive. Various programs are offered with the opportunity to gain college credit. Program participants will study at the University of Costa Rica, Veritas University, or at the Latin American University of Science and Technology (ULACIT), all of which are accredited and issue transcripts. Students at all levels of Spanish proficiency are eligible to study with ISA in San Josι. Programs include Spanish Language and Electives, Spanish Language and Electives in English, Spanish Language and Culture, and Classes with Costa Rican Students.

San Josι, a bustling city nestled in the hillsides of Costa Rica's central valley, is ideal for students. The city offers cafes, museums, restaurants and cinemas. San Josι is also the country's main transportation hub which gives students the ability to enjoy everything that Costa Rica has to offer such as untouched rainforests and beaches, mountains and volcanoes, 885 species of birds, 221 species of mammals, and 12,000 species of plants. Costa Rica’s warm people and rich culture combined with its environmental wonders will make your visit to Costa Rica a fulfilling one.

Academic Credit
Academic credit is available.  Each ISA student will be issued an official transcript from the host university upon successful completion of the program. Exactly how the credit earned abroad will transfer will be determined by the student's US academic institution.
