The academic program provides instruction on German literature, politics, history and language. Participants may choose accommodations in student dormitories or placement in a home with a German family. Applications are welcomed form undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at any college or university with a minimum of one year of college-level German. Eligibility Must be 18 years old, GPA 3.0/4.0 Housing/Accommodation • Homestay / Host Family Program Costs $1050-1716 Costs Include:  All students will pay a Program Fee which covers UB tuition, accommodation with a host family, 4-day field trip to Berlin, public transportation in and around Darmstadt, use of university sports and leisure facilities, lower prices at the university's cafeteria and administrative costs. In addition, participants will bear the costs of transportation to Germany, meals, passport and visa fees, health insurance, and personal expenses. Financial Aid Yes. Any financial aid you receive can be used to pay for this program.
