Overview
Students in Galway will study at the National University of Ireland, Galway. NUI, Galway was established in 1845, and is one of the most prestigious universities in Ireland -- it was named "Irish University of the Year -- 2002" by the Sunday Times of London. NUI, Galway has a student body of over 11,000 students (approximately 1,000 are international students). The University offers a wide variety of undergraduate courses in subjects such as liberal arts, Celtic/Irish studies, business, engineering, law, and science. As a student with Academic Programs International (API) at NUI, Galway, you will access the many facilities and activities available on campus, and study and live in one of the most popular destinations in Ireland.
