Overview
This intensive two-year program is designed for students who wish to study religion from a wide array of historical and cultural perspectives. Courses offer a broad range of encounters with religious phenomena while emphasizing interdisciplinary and comparative research methods. Within this varied scope, the M.A. degree program presents a focused specialization on Religions of the Mediterranean and the Near East: from Alexander to Muhammed.
The program is offered in conjunction with the Department of Comparative Religion of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
