Overview
New Zealand's leading research university, The University of Auckland was established in 1883 and has grown into an international center of learning and academic excellence. University Campus and Facilities
The University has in total five campuses. The University is like a small town and it doesnt take long to find your way around and to feel at home. The Quad is a lively place situated in the centre of the city campus. It is where youll find the main cafeteria, bus agency, student clubs and societies and the student radio station. The Quad hosts a market day every Thursday, and other organized events. You can also enjoy regular performance of music, theatre and dance at the Universitys Maidment Theatre. Next to the Quad is the new Kate Edger Information Commons where you will find most of the student services and facilities such as mini mart, hairdressers, photocopy centre, University Bookshop, travel agency, a bank among many other facilities. You will find great support for living and learning here at The University of Auckland.
Academic Credit
Academic credit is available.
Credit is awarded based on successful completion of courses from recognised universities, after faculty assessment of the level , content and relevance of these courses to the proposed degree program at The Unievrsity of Auckland.
Eligibility
There are a number of pathways into The University of Auckland. The general minimum entry requirements to undergraduate Bachelor's degrees isa high school qualification or one year's successful of a Bachelor's degree at recognised institution or university standing. Entry to some degree programmes vary and are specific to the country in which you completed your qualifications.
Admissions into most postgraduate programmes require a completed Bachelor's degree in a relevant field at an institution of University standing.

Include: The estimated Tuition Fees do not including living costs. You will need approximately NZ$12,000 per year for general living costs, including accommodation.

Dates
The academic year is two semesters: February to June and July to November. Applications for the first semester clos on 8 December. Most courses also offer a July start. Applications for the second semester close on 31 May.
