Overview
This program offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to study three cultures in one semester at the Universidad Espiritu Santo in Guayaquil, the financial center of Ecuador. By experiencing the rich lives and diverse cultural expressions of this multilingual and multiethnic Andean region, you’ll understand the three major influences – African, Andean indigenous, and European – that have shaped the character of the region. You’ll study intensive Spanish language; history, geography, and literature of Latin America; and social and economical development challenges.
