Overview
The Institute for Tropical Marine Ecology offers intensive programs in marine ecology and conservation at its field station / education center in Dominica, "nature island of the Caribbean." Programs are offered every fall and spring semester (12 weeks each, for 16 credits), and during a 4-week summer session (5 credits). Courses are at the university-level, accredited, and aimed at students in marine or biological sciences, or environmental studies.
Academic Credit
Academic credit is available.
Students apply through their home institution for credits and ITME supplies the necessary documentation.
Eligibility
Two semesters of college-level Biology preferred.

Semester session: US $12,500
Costs
Include: Full room and board, academic credits, on-island travel, sightseeing tours, 30-40 SCUBA excursions and more.

ITME offers the Martina Kelly Memorial Grant, up to $4,000 off the cost of regular tuition.
