Overview
This program is situated on the U.S.-Mexico international border and based in the cities of El Paso, Texas and Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, where the complexities of the borderlands are most apparent. This region is the subject of extensive global debate on such hotly contested issues as immigration, free trade, labor, the environment, human rights, and the consequences of globalization. Students live with host families, attend classes, and work at internships with local organizations.

Eligibility
College students of all academic majors and backgrounds . Sophomores, juniors and senoirs, with one year of Spanish language prior to the beginning of the program.
Housing/Accommodation
Homestay / Host Family
Students may choose to live on the Mexico or on the USA side of the border.

The cost will be announced early in 2005
Costs
Include: academic cost, room and board and requiered progrma travel and treansfer of credits.
Financial Aid
Yes.
GLCA students are eligibles for financial aid. Consult with Financial Aid Offficer at local campus.
