Overview
Part of a three country program (Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua) in which the dynamics of social, economic, political and cultural change are examined. The Center for Global Education's approach is both experiential and academically rigorous. Courses are offered in Spanish, Religion, History, Women's Studies, and Poltiical Science. Opportunities to engage with Central Americans from many different perspectives are provided to foster critical thinking and ground experience in the theoretical componenets of each course.

One of the Center's goals is to foster intentionally diverse environments that purposefully model communities where effective responses to issues of oppression such as racism, sexism, homophobia, economic inequality, xenophobia, and classism are effected.
