Students also have the opportunity to advance their conversation skills in the Jordanian dialect. Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  Recommended Credit semester: 16 semester/24 quarter hours academic year: 31 semester/46.5 quarter hours Eligibility - 3.0 GPA - 3.3 GPA in Modern Standard Arabic Language - 5 semesters of college-level Modern Standard Arabic or the equivalent Housing/Accommodation • Homestay / Host Family - Jordanian homestays Program Costs Current pricing will begin to be available on 8/15/08 on our website. Costs Include:  The CIEE fees for 2008-09 include tuition, housing, local transportation stipend, most meals in homestay, optional on-site airport meet and greet, comprehensive orientation program, full-time leadership and support, academic advising, cultural activities, field trips and overnight camping trips, host institution identity card, admission fees to host university events, immersion activities including language partners, comprehensive student handbook, pre-departure advising, and a CIEE iNext travel card which includes insurance and other travel benefits.
