Overview
This 5-week summer program emphasizes European Studies, as well as European Languages (French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Dutch). Half the program is based in Belgium at the host institution, and half is on the road. The curriculum consists of formal instruction (a 3-credit EU Seminar course, plus an optional 3-credit language course), cultural excursions and on-the-road projects. The travel itinerary includes the following cities: Brussels, Paris, Antwerp, London, Bruges, Berlin, Vienna, Amsterdam, Geneva, Prague and Luxemburg. Faculty and staff from the International Management Institute (IMI) teach the courses and accompany the group on all excursions. Students can earn up to 6 college credits. Knowledge of a foreign language is not required, since the program is conducted in English. This summer program is open to college and precollege students.
