Overview
This internship program provides a unique opportunity to combine acedemic instuction in Chinese Language and Society, travel, and an internship experience in China while earning university credits. For the second half of this fifteen-week program, students will be placed in internships with companies in Beijing the do business in various fields. Internships are avaibable in: Journalism, Finance, Education, Environment, Investment, Entertainment, Managment and Hospitality.
Academic Credit
Academic credit is available.
Chinese Class (4 credits), Chinese Language Tutorial (2 credits), Pre-Modern Chinese History (3 credits), The Arts of China (2 credits), Internship (6 credits)
Eligibility
Junior or senior standing by the start of the program.
A cumulative GPA of 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale).
A GPA of 3.00 in an appropriate major

Dormitory
All housing for participants is in safe, safe, clean and comfortable accommodations. All rooms include attached western-style bath, 24-hour hot water, air-conditioning, television and telephone. Most rooms offer ports for internet connection as well.
