Overview
Engage in service projects, field studies, and academic courses while exploring Cusco and the Sacred Valley of Peru. Work side by side with local community members, learn Spanish, hike the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu…this is your class schedule.

Community development projects, field work, and adventure activities complement classes, creating an integrated program experience. Home stay accommodations, Spanish language classes, and cultural excursions facilitate improved language fluency and full immersion in the richness of local life.

Academic Credit
Academic credit is available.  Jacksonville University (JU) accredits the ProPeru semester programs. Students receive an official transcript and undergraduate credits upon successful completion of a ProWorld semester program.

Program Costs
$8,950 / £5095

Costs Include:  Program fees support our host community economies in the forms of project materials purchases, local salaries, host family payments, and local purchases. Program fees include: tuition, credits, transcripts, full room and board, domestic transportation, daily Spanish classes, 24 hour safety and medical services, and funding of development projects and internships. The program fee also includes multiple trips to Incan ruins, cultural activities, visits to rural communities.

Financial Aid
Yes. ProWorld scholarships and many private scholarships are available. We also offer fundraising support.
