Founded by King Kazimierz the Great in 1364, it is Poland's oldest university and one of the oldest universities in Eastern Europe. The university acquired its name from King Ladislaus Jagiello, who expanded it in 1400. With over 600 years of tradition, Jagiellonian University's academic excellence is world renown. Come experience Poland through API in Krakow! Comprehensive study abroad programs in Krakow, Poland. Students will study Eastern European history and culture at the Jagiellonian University of Krakow.
