Overview
The rate of destruction in the Atlantic Rainforest - an area of exceptional biodiversity - has continued, despite Government measures. This is due in no small part to the parlous financial state that many farmers find themselves in. Iracambi runs volunteer and research programs which work towards our goals of forest restoration, land use planning, income generating alternatives and community engagement. Within these areas we have a wide range of roles and research possibilities.
Eligibility
We welcome people from around the world over the age of 18. We have no basic academic qualifications that we are looking for, there is a wide variety of work to be done here, so that we can usually find something that is suited to the individual. We do however look for people who are hard working, able to work on their own or with others, are resilient, happy to do with some creature comforts and have a good sense of humour.
