Overview
KEI's Visual Arts and Graphic Design Program in Venice is hosted by the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica. Students take up to 18 college or graduate credits per semester (up to 6 credits during the summer session), taking courses in the visual arts, printmaking, book arts, graphic design, and art history (as well as Italian language). Classes are taught in English. Classes take full advantage of the Venetian landscape, and excursions within Italy are included in the program. Students have access to the Scuola's studios and printshop after classes for independent projects.
The Scuola is a private, working art academy located in central Venice. The Scuola's enrollment is capped at 200 students annually -- 80% of which are Italian -- which allows KEI students to quickly integrate into the culture. Housing is provided in furnished apartments in central Venice.
