Since 1950, IES has been building quality study abroad programs and introducing U.S. students to new places, studies, and ways of thinking. A non-profit educational organization, IES offers high academic standards and extensive financial aid in more than 30 programs throughout the world.
IES ADELAIDE students directly enroll in the University of Adelaide, a prestigious research and teaching institution, with course offerings in over 60 disciplines. Rigorous university studies are complemented with stimulating field study opportunities enabling you to further explore Australia. A week-long field trip to the rugged Outback is a highlight of the program and contrasts sharply with the modern, coastal city of Adelaide, where all the advantages of cosmopolitan living are within easy walking distance. Beautiful in its own right, Adelaide is located near breathtaking beaches and numerous other travel destinations, such as the Barossa Valley, and offers easy access to the Outback.
