Overview
Intern with a local Belizean conservation agency, while learning about the Garifuna culture and exploring Belize. Set along the picturesque Caribbean coast this immersive program provides unforgettable internship experiences. In addition to cultural immersion and numerous adventures, you will work with one of our affiliated NGO’s on a focused conservation project. The focus of your development project is determined by your specific skills, your interests, and the needs of the local community.
Watch the moon rise over the turquoise waters of the Caribbean, swim off your front porch, explore Mayan ruins, and see monkeys in the secluded jungle. These and other daily adventures combine with cultural excursion and productive volunteer work to form a comprehensive and unique volunteer experience.

Costs
Include: Program fees help support ongoing development projects in Belize and include: full room and board, airport pickups, local transportation, 24 hour safety and medical services, and funding of development projects and internships. The program fee also includes multiple trips to Mayan ruins, cultural activities, and snorkeling the barrier reef.
