Our summer program in Nice, France, is designed for students completing grades 10-12 and focuses on French language and cultural immersion. The language courses are complemented by the daily interaction with French host families that live in Nice, Beaulieu, and Villefranche. Students have most of their meals with their host families, attend family events, and join their host parents and siblings during day trips and other activities. Typically, the students share a double room with another Abbey Road student or with a host sister or brother. The program balances structured activities and free time. Abbey Road staff organize recreational activities such as beach trips, tennis, hiking, and more. The program will also organize cultural and social activities such as concerts, museum trips, conversation exchanges, movies, and dancing. Plenty of free time is scheduled to explore the beautiful historic centers of Beaulieu, the peninsula of St. Jean Cap Ferrat and the old town of Nice, take advantage of great shopping, and enjoy the outdoor cafe culture. The program also includes excursions to Cannes, Antibes, Eze, and Monaco. The program also includes a 4-day travel extension to Paris where the group stays together in a modern, 3-star hotel within walking distance to all key sites and monuments. All academics, activities, excursions and the travel extension are included in the program fee. Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  Credit depends on school or university. Eligibility Grades 10 - 12, 2 years of French Housing/Accommodation • Homestay / Host Family French host families live in Nice, Beaulieu and Villefranche. Each family will host two Abbey Road students. They are carefully screened by Abbey Road local representatives and our U.S. staff. Program Costs $6,100 without airfare, $6,950 including airfare Costs Include:  * All-inclusive Fee: * Covers airfare from New York all tuition and tutoring, transportation, housing and meals, activities, travel excursions, the Paris travel extension, and medical, accident and travel insurance.
