Our summer program in Antibes, France, is designed for students completing grades 10-12 and focuses on French language and cultural immersion. The language classes are led by Abbey Road faculty, who also facilitate the use of French through daily interaction, course work, activities and excursions. Students will be hosted by wonderful French families who live in Antibes; the homestay element of the program completes the circle of immersion. The program organizes recreational activities such as beach trips, tennis, hiking, parasailing and more. The program will also organize cultural and social activities such as concerts, museum trips, conversation exchanges, movies, and more. Plenty of free time is scheduled to explore the beautiful historic center of Antibes, the popular boardwalk area of Juan-les-Pins, take advantage of great shopping, and enjoy the outdoor cafe culture. The program also includes excursions to Nice, Cannes, Eze, and Monaco. The program also includes a 3-day travel extension to Paris where the group stays together in a modern, 3-star hotel in the heart of the Latin Quarter near the Sorbonne. All academics, meals, activities, excursions and the travel extension are included in the program fee. Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  Credit depends on high school or university. Eligibility Our Antibes program focuses on French language and cultural immersion for high school students completing grades 10-12. Housing/Accommodation • Homestay / Host Family French host families live in Antibes, walking distance from the school, beaches, and shopping. Each family will host two Abbey Road students. They are carefully screened by Abbey Road. On average, our host families have been hosting students for 5-7 years. Program Costs $5,600 including airfare, $4,800 without airfare Costs Include:  * All-inclusive Fee: * Covers airfare from New York, all tuition and tutoring, transportation, housing and meals, activities, travel excursions, the Paris travel extension, and medical, accident and travel insurance.
