Overview
With the unprecedented growth of the economies
throughout Asia during the early and mid-1990s, Southeast Asia became a model of successful globalization and development. Developing and developed countries
around the world attempted to mimic the growth strategies of Southeast Asia. Held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, AU's Globalization and Southeast Asia program studies globalization through the spectrum of Malaysia's complex historical and contemporary experiences, its causes and its implications for the future of this critical region

Eligibility
Undergraduate-level courses are open to:
• Students in good academic standing at AU or other accredited colleges and universities.
• Students with an undergraduate degree.
• High school students who have a B or better average and the recommendation of their school counselor or principal.
Graduate courses are open to:
• Graduate students in good academic standing at AU or other accredited graduate schools.
• Students with an undergraduate degree who are not currently enrolled in a degree program.
All classes are open to mid-career professionals who possess an undergraduate degree. Classes may be taken on a credit or non-credit basis and may fulfill on-going training and recertification requirements for professional accreditation.
