Overview
Take courses taught in English at Richmond in Florence. Choose from art history, economics, history, literature, music, photography, political science and studio art, plus internships and Italian language. Orientation in Viareggio fall semester; Siena spring semester. No previous Italian study required.
Open to college sophomores, juniors and seniors. The AIFS program fee includes tuition, housing, meals, orientation in Viareggio (fall) or Siena (spring), outbound flight, cultural activities, 3-day London stopover, field trips to Rome, Venice and Ravenna, services of a pre-departure Student Advisory Center and on-site Resident Director and computer facilities with Internet access.
Applications must be postmarked by June 1 for academic year and fall semester; October 15 for spring semester. Scholarships available.

Academic credit is available.
Transcripts issued by Richmond, The American International University in London, a U.S.-accredited university.

During orientation in Viareggio or Siena, student stay in a residence or hotel. In Florence, students can choose between an Italian home or student apartments.
