Overview
Take courses taught in English at Richmond in Rome. Choose from art history, economics, history, literature and political science, plus Italian language. Three week language preparation and orientation in Florence included. No previous Italian language study required.
Open to college sophomores, juniors and seniors. The AIFS program fee includes tuition, housing, meals, outbound flight, cultural activities, 3-day London stopover, fields trips to Naples, Pompeii, Venice and Ravenna, services of a pre-departure Student Advisory Center and an on-site Resident Director, computer facilities with Internet access and a three week orientation in Florence.
Applications must be postmarked by June 1 for academic year and fall semester; October 15 for spring semester. Scholarships are available.
Academic Credit
Academic credit is available.
Transcripts are issued by Richmond, The American International University in London, a U.S.-accredited university.

Open to college sophomores, juniors and seniors. 2.5 minimum GPA required.

Students can choose to stay in either shared rooms in apartments or as a paying guest in a homestay. During orientation in Florence, students stay in a student residence or hotel.
