Here, you can find perfect beaches, awesome volcanoes, beautiful coral reefs, and lush tropical rainforests. Coupled with its abundance of exotic flora and fauna, it’s no wonder why Costa Rica has become one of the top ecotourism destinations in the world. With spring-like climate all year round, impressive scenic beauty, a system of protected areas, social and political stability, high educational levels and efficient infrastructure and services, Costa Rica certainly has a lot to offer those who wish to explore it. Of course, the country’s landscape also provides the perfect venue for eco-activities, including whitewater rafting, coffee tours, hiking through rainforests, and visits to volcanoes. Costa Rica has so much to offer that it is truly an excellent choice for your Spanish immersion program. We offer Spanish programs in five wonderful locations in Costa Rica, all with first class facilities, great teachers, many varied and fun activities and excursions, and a warm and friendly atmosphere in which to learn Spanish. If you find it too difficult to choose between programs you can always combine locations in one course. Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  Many colleges accept our courses for credit, but credit can also be received through our affiliate NMSU. Eligibility The minimum age is 15 unless accompanied by adult.
