Overview
CASS is located in the beautiful Caribbean coastal city of La Ceiba, Honduras. However, we offer a total of 6 different Spanish Language Programs where students can begin their unique intellectual adventure. Students can choose from locations in the Bay Islands (Utila or Roatan), nearby National Park Pico Bonito, and the historical village of Copan Ruinas.
We offer flexible class schedules, housing accommodations, meals and Spanish instruction in one-on-one or group settings. Our staff consists of select "maestros" (master professors) who are graduates of Honduran universities. Classes emphasize conversation, reading, grammar, and the experience of real life Spanish situations.
Spanish instruction is based on 20 hours of classes per week, usually in the morning. This allows students the afternoon free for recreational trips to nearby attractions, whitewater rafting trips, hiking, relaxing on the beach and most importantly, time to practice Spanish through immersion in the local culture.
Free written and oral evaluations are given to each student before he or she begins classes. These evaluations determine the student’s individualized skill level and requirements. The student is then matched with their private instructor, and a lesson plan is developed to meet the student’s goals. Each student is also evaluated at various stages of his or her program to ensure that his or her maximum potential is achieved.
Our programs are popular with students of all ages, from college students to business and medical professionals, from families to retired adults. You can rely on our staff’s personal and conscientious attention to each student's specific needs. As well as the family atmosphere maintained among students and staff.
All levels of Spanish speakers are welcome.
