Overview
Guatemalensis Spanish School is a non-profit, year-round school founded in 1990 that offers you a Total Immersion Program in the Spanish Language, including indoor and outdoor activities that permits you to obtain a learning of excellent quality, to be fluent in your new language, to deeply grasp its grammar and get to know the real Guatemalan Culture and lifestyle.
Included in your tuition you will participate in daily and weekend activities, such as: minimun-impact excursions, cultural trips, lectures, videos, roundtables, hiking and trekking, Real Social Project, cultural & outdoor activities, merengue and salsa lessons, volunteer work opportunities, Mayan Culture, folklore, adventure and fun, etc.
In addition to excellent Spanish teaching. GSS develops and supports a Programmed Social Project to help very poor and disadvantaged families and children at risk to improve their adverse life conditions. You will participate in this Social Project indirectly through a percentage of your tuition and directly interacting with needy people of Guatemala.
You will have the guaranty that this percentage of your learning tuition will go directly to needy people and not to other hands nor other organizations.

Costs
Include: 25 hours of teaching per week, room and board with a host family and access to activities (personal expenses not included), support to our Social Project.
Dates
School open all the year. The program starts when the students arrive because is a personalized program. Classes starts every Monday. All the program is divided in weeks.
