Study Spanish under palm trees on a beautiful beach of a tropical island; that is a fantastic way to combine a Caribbean beach vacation with Spanish classes. At the northern coast of the Dominican Republic you'll find the most stunning beaches of probably the whole Caribbean. The village Las Terrenas has several bays with white sandy palm beaches and an azure sea with coral reefs. It still has a community of fishermen and around 11.00 am you can see them return with their catch and watch the spectacle of the buying and selling on the beach Because of the ample distance to the nearest airport, tourism has a nice slow way of developing here. The village has several bays, white sand beaches, a deep blue sea, a coral reef near the coast and palmtrees on the beaches. Standard there are three hours of private lessons a day. You have private tuition of a local Dominican teacher who speaks some English too. Tree times a week there are joint events in the afternoon and weekend; so don’t worry you don’t have to lay on the beach every day. Classes are held on the terrace of a seashore restaurant, in the shade of some palm trees. The sea breeze or even a quick dip during the coffee break will keep you fresh. You will have classes from 9 am until 12 am or, if you prefer, from 2 pm until 5 pm (with a 15 minutes coffee break). A textbook with grammar and exercises at your level is included in the price of the language course. Included in the package is a stay in a studio 20 meters from the beach and in the centre of town or you can stay 10 minutes by bicycle away and stay in a lovely small hotel set in a beautiful garden. If you prefer a luxurious hotel than we can arrange that too. You just have to buy your flyingticket to Santo Domingo or Puerto Plata and we can arrange an airportpickup and transfers to Las Terrenas.
