Overview
Instituto Huitztlan provides intensive Spanish lessons to students, business professionals, nurses, teachers, and retires from the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, Africa, as well as many other countries. Our students receive direct attention from our professors and have ample opportunity to participate in every class, as we provide small, intimate classes, never more than 5 students.
The school is located in a private residence, where you will feel at home, it is located very close to downtown “ZOCALO”. It has a swimming pool, a patio, and comfortable areas where to study.
There is a shopping area very close to the Institute, which has a bakery, coffee shops, a supermarket, three banks, post office, laundry, Mexican food restaurants, doctors, pharmacies, etc… It is about a 5 minute walking distance to all these services you do not have to take the bus or drive, just walk around and you will find everything you need.
Our Spanish program is fully registered, accredited and approved by the State Board of Education (SEP) Secretaría de Educación Pública.
The origin of the word HUITZTLAN comes from the word (HUIXTLA).
Huixtla is a small City located in the coast of the State of Chiapas, México; surrounded by beautiful banana and coffee plantations. Taking a two hour drive, up to the mountains you will be able to see all the coffee plantations; where Spaniards and Germans were the first ones learning how to grow coffee.
We will be glad to offer you a cup of coffee from one of these plantations in Chiapas. The name is “FINCA NUEVA ESPAÑA”.
