Overview
There is no better place to learn about french cooking than in France... and there's no better place in France than the South-West, home to a 'traditional' cuisine that not only represents the french 'taste' but knows how to periodically re-invent itself and produce sub-cuisines such as the cuisine nouvelle.
A la carte cuisine has chosen a range of courses which introduce the visitor to this remarkable region: not just to the different culinary styles but also to the culture, history and people that have forged this cuisine.
Our courses range from classes in a purpose-built atelier in Toulouse with an experienced team of chefs through short courses based in country chateaux or bijou hotels where the chef-patron takes you under his wing, to a lazy few days cooking with a french housewife in her own home.

Dates
The different programs run every week from September 14th 2004 thru to June 15th 2005; and then start again on Sept 15th 2005.
