Overview
Intercultural Patagonia Inc. is an organization specifically devoted to the organization, administration, and management of international cultural study programs. Our team consists of social, educational and academic tourism professionals, who have been through the wonderful experience of being an exchange student themselves and are increasingly competent at doing their job.
At Intercultural Patagonia, what makes us feel encouraged is the knowledge that every student we receive represents a new possibility to form a global citizenry, to form a person who truly understands while respects and enjoys cultural differences.
Our work philosophy is based upon respect for different cultures and a great interest in knowing them. Our main idea is that only by breaking the stereotypes that have been carried on for centuries, will it be possible to improve the alarming situation in the international context we live today. Along with the possibility of learning a new language, we would like to pass on to each student that selects us the concept of open mindedness and the notion that person comes before “country”, “race” or even “religion”.

Host Families:Intercultural Patagonia has been very careful in the host family selection process. These families are families of students that attend the same school as the exchange student. The likes and needs of the exchange student are taken into account in the host family selection process.The exchange student will be offered a single or a shared room. The host family according to the exchange student’s customs will provide meals. Our team takes an active role in the integration process of the exchange student with the host family. Regular meetings are conducted to evaluate their satisfaction. It is imperative for the exchange student to have an open mind and a positive attitude toward their new family since in the daily family life lies the richness of the cultural exchange. It is in this relationship where the cultural and personal knowledge exchanges. Hostel:Intercultural Patagonia also offers the possibility of staying at student hostels. However, this option is only available to exchange students that are below 18 years by the date that the exchange program starts.Characteristics:-Single or double occupancy-Fully furnish kitchen-Choice of dinner or lunch at participating restaurants-Our team is constantly in touch with hostel personnel
