Students who wish to receive academic credit at the Instituto de Español Costa Rica receive an official transcript indicating the number of class hours completed and an overall grade for performance after finishing the Spanish Program. It will be signed by the director and will wear the official stamp of the Institute. Generally, one semester unit of credit is granted for each 15-20 hours of class time. However, as explained before, each school/college/university has its own procedure and mechanism. Housing/Accommodation • Homestay / Host Family Students can also choose a program without housing and stay at a hotel. In that case we will give them a list of hotels. Program Costs 1 week programs: from $190 to $257 2 week programs: from $378 to $527 3 week programs: from $550 to $778 4 weeks program: from $733 to $1030 8 weeks program: from $1333 to $2070 Please see our website for more information Costs Include:  Programs include 4 - 6 hours of Spanish instruction per day in group or individual classes, with or without homestay, with or without excursions Dates Courses start every Monday.
