The atmosphere at the school is friendly, open and very personal. The teaching method is communicative and based on the simple recognition that in order to learn a language, one has to speak it. All teachers have extensive experience in group and individual instruction. The school has well equipped, bright class-rooms as well as a video room. Self-study opportunities exist in some class-rooms as well as in a large library right beside the school. Die Neue Schule is an acknowledged examination centre. Program Costs You learn in small groups of 6 to maximum 12 students. We offer ten different levels at the same time. Here some examples of our program: Standard Course - 2 weeks - 20 lessons a week: 205,- EUR Intensive Course - 2 weeks - 30 lessons a week: 665,- EUR Professional Course - 2 weeks - 25 lessons a week: 1250,- EUR Evening Course - 6 weeks - 4 lessons a week: 175,- EUR One lesson-hour is made up of 45 minutes. Prices do not include books and materials. There is a 45,- Euro registration fee for registrations from abroad. This registration includes both the bank charges required and processing fees. The registration fee in Berlin is 10,- Euro. Costs Include:  placement test, tuition, leaving certificate Dates All of the German courses at Die Neue Schule can be booked throughout the entire year. Students with previous knowledge and advanced learners can begin courses any Monday. An oral and written placement test ensures you a place in the right course. Courses for absolute beginners always start on the first Monday of a month.
