Our programs are available with no previous Spanish requirements. University credit keeps students on track for graduation. Experiential learning opportunities are available via internships or volunteer projects. Intensive Spanish classes are required in order to prepare students for classes with local students. Family stays and extra curricula activities are available in order to complete the cultural immersion in Chile and/or Argentina. Multiple scholarship opportunities are available and students may use financial aid. Study in two fantastic countries that are largely undiscovered by foreign exchange students. Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  Official transcripts are provided by the Universidad Abierta Interamericana, which is accredited by the Argentine Ministry of Education. Eligibility Current university student with a GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Housing/Accommodation • Homestay / Host Family • Apartment / Flat Since the social life in Latin America tends to revolve around the family, living with a host family is the best way to immerse yourself into the culture and to ensure that you will practice the language outside of class. All families are carefully selected. Program Costs Semester: $3,480 Mini-Mester: $2,280 Costs Include:  University transcript, Three-week orientation program, Tuition and fees, Admission fee to Member University, Student health insurance, A two-day overnight excursion, Airport transfers Financial Aid Yes. The ICambio scholarships exist to develop more globally savvy students by subsidizing the cost of our study abroad programs. We offer a total of 20 scholarships for the 2005 Semester 1: 10 scholarships to Chile and 10 scholarships to Argentina. The awards are valued at $24,000 USD. The scholarships are not based on need but are awarded to the winners of an essay contest.
