This program is ideal for the student who wants to concentrate on gaining proficiency in the Japanese language in a short period of time. Academic credit and Financial Aid is available through one of our sponsor Universities: Western Washington University, the University of Idaho, and Lincoln University/CCIS. Special Courses or Features Japanese for Academic Purposes Japanese for Business Purposes Japanese Immersion Program (40+ hrs/wk) Japanese Teacher Training One-to-One / Private Lessons Academic Credit Academic credit is available.  Academic credit available to all college students and adult non-students through Western Washington University, the University of Idaho, or Lincoln University/CCIS. Students of Idaho State University and New Mexico State University apply through their respective study abroad offices. Eligibility 18 years of age, high school graduate, strong desire to become proficient in the Japanese language. Housing/Accommodation • Dormitory • Homestay / Host Family Program Costs Our program is affordable! Prices begin at $2200 per semester. Housing is available. Packages include tuition and fees, excursions, two course, and many other features. Our package per semester with dormitory housing is $5300; with homestay is $5500. Costs Include:  Tuition and fees, Over 200 hours of language instruction, Textbooks and supplementary material, Pre-departure packet, Pick-up at Narita Airport on your arrival date, Detailed on-site orientation, Lodging: Dormitory room or Homestay, Homestay includes breakfast and dinner, Dormitory meal plan is available • Transportation pass between lodging and school Course on Japanese Culture and Society • Numerous cultural activities and excursions • Minor medical insurance Financial Aid Yes. Students may be eligible for state and federal financial aids, scholarships, and other options if they apply through one of our sponsor Universities. Adult non-students may also be eligible for financial aid through the University of Idaho. Dates 11-week programs begin in January, April, July, and October. Two summer programs offered.
