Overview
The specificity of this program is to offer the student the chance of a total immersion in the French Culture and Life style , the opportunity to study French without the constraints of a classical Language School and to share his tutor's family life, leisure and activities during his stay in France.
Courses take place in the morning after breakfast in a friendly and informal manner, afternoons are dedicated to conversations during various activities with the Tutor.
Accommodation:
Private bedroom for one person or a couple (double bed ) with television and CD player (in case of two or three students travelling together extra single beds can be provided ) Shared bathroom (bath tub and shower) and toilets.
Home stay: full board including a typical French breakfast and one meal at your trainer\'s home (Generally Diner)
The student will attend to his own lunch, unless planed otherwise (excursion with the tutor)
Diners are taken with the host family. Every day, a different regional main dish will be served.
Facilities:
•Extra meals or quick snacks can be prepared by the student in the kitchen ( microwave)
•Free use of the family washing/drying machine and iron, for your laundry.
•Fax Machine and telephone ( long distance calls will be charged on the France telecom flat rates)
•Computer (DSL permanent connection) can be used to receive or send e-mails
Your tutor will happily help you plan any escape to a ski station or excursion nearby.
* Course material : books, book notes, pens, computer and audio supports are provided

Any nationality . Any level. Minimum age : 18.

Program Costs
Three choices of homestay sessions:
full boarding + 30 hrs tuition ( accomodation+breakfast- dinners+ tuition are included) =1800 euros/week
half boarding+ 30 hrs tuition (accomodation+breakfast+ tuition are included- free use of the kitchen to prepare extra meals)=1400 euros/week
Self catering+ 30 hrs tuition ( accomodation+ tuition-free use of the kitchen to prepare breakfast and meals)= 900 euros/week

Costs
Include: A "one-week home stay session"(Arrival on Sunday night - departure on Saturday morning) includes:
Pick up and return at your point of arrival : (Lyon railway station or Lyon air terminal or Saint Exupery airport)
-Monday through Friday (9 am to 1 pm ) : 18-24 or 30 hours /week one-to-one tailor made French tuition with your Host/Tutor
Cultural activities in Lyon, with your tutor in the afternoon
French Breakfast and dinner.
Option for Home stay and Tourism (less tuition and more excursions around LYON)
On request (with additional cost):
Private cooking lessons with a French Chef on the premises.
Excursions to the seaside or the mountains
Dates
The program is runs all through the year, but students who enjoy skiiing in the Alps nearby rather book between December and April and students who enjoy sightseeing and visiting the city or going further down South, rather come during the nice season going from May to October. The minimum length of stay is one week and the maximum is 4.
