No matter your previous background in this international language, we will help you to assimilate Spanish quickly and easily. Our experienced teachers are here to assist you with all your questions, queries and concerns. Teachers and other staff are also available to support you in making the cultural transition as smoothly as possible, as well as to boost your learning and progress in Spanish. Whatever you need to make the best of your experience!
Generally, SPANISH classes are from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Classes are 50 minutes each. Afternoons are filled with a wide variety of courses along with fun activities, outings, fiestas, barbecues, concerts, cinema and sports. You will have the chance of meeting Spanish people, make friends, and practice what you have learned through contacts provided at INSTITUTO HEMINGWAY.
We also offer INTERNSHIPS in professional companies, PAID JOBS IN HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT, SEMESTERS AT THE MAIN SPANISH UNIVERSITIES, COOKING TOURS, HOMESTAY PROGRAMS AND VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCES THAT s allow you to really get to know the country you choose to stay in, to live with locals and to learn a new language. What's more, this is an excellent opportunity to push your professional career too. We have these programs throughout Spain. Academic Credit
Academic credit is available.
Any student who wishes to receive academic credit for work completed at Instituto Hemingway will receive an official transcript indicating the number of class hours completed and an overall grade for performance. The appropriate administrator at the student's home university must agree to his or her participation in the program. One semester unit of credit is granted for each 15. Thus, a four-week program of 4 hours of class daily would generate 4 semester credits. Students may chose a letter grade or a Credit or Non Credit option. Weekly progress reports are evaluated and recorded, and a final examination is given to each student. An official transcript will be sent to the home institutions for those students receiving credits.
